SprintFastest is officially back with the SprintFastest All-Star Indoor Championship 2026, taking place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Glasgow International Arena (formerly known as Emirates Arena).

Following a hugely successful debut earlier this year, the upcoming indoor edition promises a bigger and even more exciting experience as Scotland’s fastest young athletes go head-to-head in the 200m event.
The first edition of SprintFastest welcomed over 160 athletes representing more than 40 clubs across Scotland, alongside 1,000 attendees, creating an electrifying atmosphere filled with speed, personal best performances, excitement and a shared love for athletics.
Now, SprintFastest returns with an even bigger vision, continuing its mission to inspire people to get into sport and create a platform for young athletes across Scotland to compete and grow within the sport.

The SprintFastest All-Star Indoor Championship has been supported by funding from sportscotland as part of the national Summer of Sport 2026 initiative, recognising the role of SprintFastest in creating inclusive, accessible opportunities and strengthening pathways into athletics across Scotland.
The indoor championship features 200m races across multiple youth categories, bringing together some of Scotland’s most exciting young sprint talents for a high-energy day of athletics competition.
Beyond the races, SprintFastest is also focused on creating a memorable experience for both athletes and families. Attendees can expect side activities, entertainment, and interactive activities for both kids and adults throughout the day.

The impact of SprintFastest events is already being felt across the athletics community, with strong feedback from athletes, coaches, officials and families highlighting both the quality of delivery and the inclusive, inspiring environment created. As Barry, an event official, shared: “Really enjoyed the event and thought you’d put a lot of work into it to make it a special day.” Coaches have also reflected positively on the experience, with Nigel commenting: “We all had a fantastic day out and are looking forward to doing the same next year. You should be very proud of yourselves for putting on such a fantastic event.”
From a venue perspective, Daniel noted: “A very well-run event, great community spirit, and opportunity for younger athletes to be showcased. It was a welcome, fresh event and a great way to kick off the season.” The athletes themselves have highlighted both the enjoyment and competitive opportunity, with Kian saying: “It was a great competition and a nice way to open up the outdoor season. Delighted to have won the U17 age group.” Parents have also seen the wider impact beyond competition, with one parent sharing: “Harrison really enjoyed the opportunity to showcase his talent. It was his first experience getting interviewed, so that added to his day!”

Families, friends, clubs, and supporters are encouraged to come along for what promises to be an exciting Saturday filled with speed, entertainment, and unforgettable moments.
