For Callan, it all started during the daily mile at primary school.
Racing his friends quickly became the best part of the day, and before long, he realised how much he enjoyed sprinting.
Now representing Falkirk Victoria Harriers, Callan has a 200m personal best of 23.51 and is always looking for ways to improve.
When things get tough, he keeps himself motivated by setting new goals and working towards them.
Looking ahead, he wants to continue improving and achieve new personal bests over the next 12 months. But before then, he’ll be aiming for a podium finish at this year’s SprintFastest All-Star Indoor Championship.
We can’t wait to see Callan on the start line and wish him the very best for the season ahead.
