For Freya, running is something she has always loved.
At almost 8, she took that love for running to Larkhall YMCA Harriers, where she found the opportunity to develop, compete and keep getting better.
Freya is determined and doesn’t believe in giving up. She’s always pushing herself and looking for ways to improve. With a 200m PB of 29.5, she’s already showing what that determination can look like on the track.
Now, Freya is stepping onto a bigger stage as one of our U12 All-Star athletes, representing Team Saltire at the SprintFastest All-Star Indoor Championship.
She’ll be racing against some of Scotland’s fastest young athletes, with another chance to test herself, chase that PB and, most importantly, enjoy doing what she loves.
