Costa has been around athletics since 2021, getting involved in running, jumping and throwing before discovering where he really wanted to focus his energy.
Over time, sprinting became the event he enjoyed most. There was something about the speed, the competition and the feeling of pushing himself that kept drawing him back to the track.
But for Costa, the next race is only part of the bigger picture.
He has his sights set much further ahead, the Olympics. It’s a goal that keeps him motivated and gives meaning to the work he puts in, with the support of his family and club helping him stay focused on the journey.
Now, he heads into the SprintFastest All-Star Indoor Championship with a new PB and a podium finish in his sights.
