Freya had been in and out of athletics over the years. Then she watched a race at the Island Games in Orkney, and it made her want to get back on the track.
Now she’s back, and she has a new number in her sights.
With a current 200m PB of 26.43, Freya wants to break into the 26-second range. Her coaches, Nigel and Mags Thomson, are there to help her along the way as she works towards her goals.
And now, that return to racing is taking her from Orkney to Glasgow and on 3 October, she will compete at the SprintFastest All-Star Indoor Championship to do her absolute best.
